Step-by-step guide to Prepare Easy Tomato Chutney Recipe
- Take a pan and add chana dal 1 tbsp & urad dal 1 tbsp. Dry roast it on low flame until it turns to a golden brown color & transfer it to the plate let it cool.
- Meanwhile in the same pan add 2 tbsp of oil & heat it in low flame.
- Once the oil is heated add garlic cloves 5, chopped ginger ½ tbsp & fry it for a few seconds.
- Next, add chopped onion and garlic, and fry it.
- Next, add red chilies 6, and chopped onions & fry them until the onion turns transparent Then add chopped tomatoes & fry them until the tomatoes become soft.
- Turn off the flame & transfer it to a plate to cool down.
- Take a blender and add dry roasted dal
- Grind added dry roasted dal into a fine powder.
- Next, add fried ingredients into the same blender & add salt to taste, blend to a fine paste by adding some water.
- Transfer grinded chutney into a bowl.
- Add 2 tbsp of oil to a pan and heat it on low flame. Once the oil is heated add ¼tbsp of mustard & ¼tbsp of jeera After crackling it add curry leaves. Turn off the flame. Then add this to the bowl and mix it well.
